Stocking Up on Skills
Stocking Up on Skills is a free career
development and training program that will help participants
develop important employment skills for the supply and logistics
sector. This program is offered by the Government of Canada
in partnership with the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council and
Conestoga College.
The supply and logistics sector is one of
Alberta's fastest growing industries
with employment opportunities in areas like transportation &
logistics, warehousing & distribution, purchasing & assets
management.

What can I expect at the training?
Working with a Bow Valley College facilitator, participants
will:
- explore the supply and logistics sector
- develop employment skills needed in all occupations such as
communications, planning, documentation, digital skills, etc.
- receive an individual skills profile, based on a skills
assessment
- gain a certificate of completion

training will be offered at no cost to participants

supply and logistics sector

What is the comittment?
- Participants must attend all onsite sessions, complete
independent online training, and provide feedback on the program.
- Information Session (onsite): Tuesday, January 19th
from 9:30am to 11:30am
- TOWES Pre-Assessment (onsite): Thursday, January
21st from 9:00am to 12:00pm
- 30 hour of independent online training: January 25th
to February 18th
- Post TOWES (onsite): Friday, February 19th from
9:00am to 12:00pm
