Professional Development & Administrator Training Overview

TOWES offers a variety of presentations, professional development workshops and administrator certification programs for instructors, trainers, recruiters or those who just want to learn more about literacy and essential skills.

TOWES is recognized around the world for our innovative model for assessing and improving literacy and essential skills.  Our training and certification programs are based on proven best practices from years of experience in the field.  We will provide you with practical, hands-on approaches and strategies for working with your clients.

Programs are offered in-house at Bow Valley College, onsite at your organization, or at conference and training facilities located across the country.  Many of our professional development programs and certification programs can be completed online or delivered remotely using web-based technology.

Many TOWES training programs are eligible for funding investment through The Canada Job Grant. The Canada Job Grant is employer-driven training funding designed to help address skill mismatches and ensure that new or existing employees are trained in high-demand areas.
